Jamie Vandenburgh named Head Softball Coach at Jackson College

Jackson, MI - Jamie Vandenburgh has been named head softball coach at Jackson College.

Director of Athletics Heather Bateman announces Vanderburgh's hiring after a successful season as the interim head coach.  "Coach Vandenburgh has done a great job in this past year.  She is a great addition to the softball program and our family here at Jackson College."

Vandenburgh comes to Jackson College from a vast playing and coaching background.  She formerly was the Head Softball Coach at Homer High School where she compiled a 93-21 record in 4 seasons of coaching JV and Varsity Softball. Throughout the summer she has coached various travel teams and currently coaches an 18U Ann Arbor Gold team.

Vandenburgh attended Michigan Center High School where she currently holds pitching records in multiple categories. In 2010 she graduated from Hillsdale College after playing four years of softball and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. Hillsdale is a NCAA DII College in the GLIAC Conference.
