Jets softball players recognized

Jackson College Jets women's softball players have received accolades for the 2014 season from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference.

Jets receiving recognition include:

  • Andi Dragonetti, shortstop, received All-Region, All-MCCAA Team, and First Team All-Conference Player honors. Dragonetti was captain of the Jets team this year and was second in the NJCAA in hitting with a .546 average. She is a sophomore at JC and graduate of Lumen Christi High School.
  • Kyndle Wolfinger, second base, received Second Team All-Conference and All-Freshman Team honors. Wolfinger was the second place hitter in the Jets lineup with a .436 batting average. She is a freshman at JC and graduate of Grass Lake High School.
  • Kellyn Herendeen, center fielder, received Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. Herendeen was the lead-off hitter and batted .423 this season. She is a sophomore from Grass Lake High School.

Women's softball finished the season with an 8-8 record in the MCCAA Western Conference, and a 12-17 record overall.
