Spring Arbor University JV at Jackson College

Jets men's soccer defeated Spring Arbor University's junior varsity team 9-4 Oct. 1 at Jackson College.

The Jets' Samuel Lebbie and Eliya Budugure both had 3 goals, with additional goals scored by Payton Warner, Dener Henderson and Gonzalo Bocaz. Budugure had 2 assists, Lebbie 1 assist, Bocaz had 2 assists, Aladdin Almallahi had 2 assists, and Kengo Yanai had 1 assist. Goalkeeper John Helmling took the win for the Jets.


Schoolcraft College at Jackson College

Jets men's soccer picked up a win again the Ocelots of Schoolcraft College at home Sept. 25, winning 2-1.

The Jets' Jacoby Anderson scored the first goal of the game at 23:00, and Gonzalo Bocaz scored the second goal at 68:00. The Ocelots lone goal came at the 84-minute mark by Torrence Weaver, with assist from Callum Ashmore.

Jets goalkeeper Felipe Cerda got the win, while Schoolcraft's Kieran Malachino took the loss.


Cuyahoga Community College at Jackson College

Jets men's soccer downed Tri-C, Cuyahoga Community College, 3-0 at Jackson College Sept. 14.

After a scoreless first half, all three of the Jets goals came in the second half. Samuel Lebbie scored at the 62-minute mark with an assist from Gonzalo Bocaz, and Bocaz scored at the 69-minute mark with an assist from Eliya Budugure. Payton Warner scored at the 70-minute mark with an assist from Braden Kosmet.


Lakeland Community College at Jackson College

Jets men's soccer scored early again the Lakers of Lakeland Community College, but ultimately fell 2-1 against the visiting team Sept. 15. Scoring the only Jets goal was Samuel Lebbie at the 8-minute mark, with an assist from Eliya Budugure.


Muskegon Community College at Jackson College

The Muskegon CC Jayhawks downed the Jets men's soccer team 1-0 in a match at Jackson College Sept. 18. The lone goal came early in the game, at the 7-minute mark, for Muskegon.

Jet's men's soccer is at 3-2 in the MCCAA Conference and 4-3 overall for the season.


Men's soccer at top of MCCAA in early season

Jackson College men's soccer are first in the MCCAA after four games, with a 3-1 record.

The Jets only loss came Aug. 28 against Muskegon Community College, 3-2. Samuel Lebbie scored the Jets 2 goals in the game. Goalie Felipe Cerda took the loss.

Jackson came back Wednesday, Sept. 4, with a 2-1 win at Schoolcraft College. Scoring for the Jets were Lebbie (assist from Eliya Budugure) and Dalton Hageman (assist from Lebbie). Goalie Felipe Cerda received the win.

The Jets topped Ancilla College Saturday, Sept. 7, 3-1. Scoring were Gonzalo Bocaz, Lebbie (assist from Budugure), and Braden Kosmet. Goalie Cerda received the win.


Lake Michigan College at Jackson College

Aug. 24 in Jackson

Jackson College's men's soccer team scored a decisive shutout victory over Lake Michigan College Aug. 24, 5-0.

Samuel Lebbie, sophomore forward for the Jets, scored 3 of the Jets goals, with two assists by Aladdin Almallahi and one by Eliya Budugure. Alec Carroll scored with an assist from Dalton Hageman, and Hageman scored a goal unassisted. Goalkeeper Felipe Cerda take the win for the Jets.
