Bowlers continue strong first season

Jackson College Jets bowling teams continue a strong showing in their first season, playing at the Schoolcraft College Bowling Invitational Jan. 25 in Livonia.

The Jets men finished in second place overall out of eight teams competing, with a total score of 4,057, just four pins shy of first place. Individual results show Jackson bowlers Ryan Saville in fourth place overall with a 592 series, following by teammate Keegan Campbell with a 591 series. The Jets' John Kortz finished in 10th place with a 546 series. Brock Fullerton had a 482 series, and Andrew Richard a 465 series.

For the Jets women, the team finished fifth out of eight teams with a 3,152 total score. Bowler Amanda Enners had a 429 series, Cami Emerson a 414 series; Hannah Boobyer, 379; Maddie Spataro, 377; and Rachael Pelfrey, 366.
