Four Jets baseball players sign early with four-year schools

Jackson, MI – An exciting time for the Jackson College baseball program as four student-athletes recently signed scholarships to play at the four-year collegiate level during the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) early signing period.

Top signee inked at a Division I level school, while the other three signed with Division II schools.

Jimmy Townsend-Chase - Hillsdale High School/ Jackson College- Signed with Western Michigan University.  Jimmy is a RHP for the Jets and will be one of our conference starting pitchers for the 2015 season.

Brad Allen - Manchester High School/Jackson College- Signed with Saginaw Valley State University.  Brad is a RHP for the Jets and will be one of our conference starting pitchers for the 2015 season.

Gage Lolley - Adrian High School/ Jackson College- Signed with Saginaw Valley State University. Gage is a RHP for the Jets and will also be expected to be in the conference rotation or be our closer.

Tyler Reed - Columbia Center High School/ Jackson College- Signed with University of Indianapolis.  Tyler a team captain for the Jets and a returning All Region X11 outfielder.

The Jets will open the 2015 season on Friday, February 27, 2015 during their spring trip.
